If you love learning about jewelry history as much as I do, be sure to register for ASJRA’s annual conference, to be held virtually on May 6 and 7. “Iconic Jewelry Firms” is the theme this year.
My presentation, “Coro & Louis Rousselet: Two Costume Jewelry Makers You Need to Know More About”, will be on Saturday, May 6. While doing extensive research on these very different firms recently, I have uncovered new information about both. I’m looking forward to sharing these findings with you.
My presentation is the only one addressing important historical costume jewelry makers, and I’m delighted to be in the company of the other speakers who are highly-respected curators, historians, gemologists and jewelry artists. Among the other iconic jewelry firms you’ll learn about are Louis Comfort Tiffany, Paul Flato and Verdura.
You can join us from the comfort of your own home, even wearing your pj’s. If you can’t view the sessions on the scheduled dates or wish to re-watch any presentations, the entire conference will be available online for three weeks following the event.
Visit the website of ASJRA (the Association for the Study of Jewelry and Related Arts) to see the full line-up of speakers and topics, and to register.
And don’t forget to attend the virtual cocktail party on May 6 at 6:00pm. Hope to see you there!
